Clifton Hill is home to a number of OPG Winter Festival of Lights displays during the winter season. Trees in this area feature warm white lighting with light strands hanging down from the limbs to resemble Spanish Moss Trees. At the foot of The Hill is an arrangement of illuminated spiral trees and decorative lighting at Oakes Garden Theatre. A large spiral tree containing ornaments and surrounded by presents is located at Grand View Marketplace. Two archways above the street welcome visitors as they enter the Clifton Hill District from both Ferry Street and on Victoria Avenue near Bender Street. Be sure to stop by the life-size Santa’s Sleigh led by two of his reindeer; visitors can sit in the sleigh for the perfect holiday photo opp! The Clifton Hill District is also decorated with a cluster of giant six foot tall retro light bulbs another great selfie photo opp.
