Fireworks Schedule

There are many incredible Fireworks shows happening in Niagara Falls Canada. Enjoy fireworks during the winter and summer. The Winter Festival of Lights starts off with a fireworks show during our flip the switch Opening Ceremonies. Afterwards, fireworks take place every Friday night along with the holidays.

The Winter Festival of Lights Fireworks series will begin at Opening Ceremonies on Saturday, November 16th, 2019
A total of 25 fireworks shows will take place during the festival season, see dates below.

2019-20 OPG Winter Festival of Lights Fireworks Program Presented by Fallsview Casino

Saturday, November 16th – WFOL Opening Ceremonies fireworks at 9:00PM
Fridays: November 22, 29 December 6, 13, 20, 27 & January 3
Nightly: Dec. 21 to Dec 30 & Jan. 1 to 5
New Year’s Eve: Monday, December 31st at 9PM & Midnight
January 11 & 12

All performances take place at 9PM unless otherwise noted. Fireworks schedule is subject to change. As always, fireworks performances are weather permitting and may be cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Tina Myers, Ontario Power Generation Winter Festival of Lights Executive Director, goes behind the scenes with the team from David Whysall International Fireworks to set off a massive fireworks show over Niagara Falls.
