Fifteen illuminated seesaws that when put into motion by people the lights will increase in intensity and sounds will be emitted. On display in Queen Victoria Park from November 3 to 30, 2018.
The installation of Impulse is an interactive work comprising a series of 15 seesaws with light and sound that changes when in motion. The seesaws form units of light and sound that can be activated by the public to create an ever-changing composition. By playing on the seesaws, you create a dynamic light and sound wave giving a pulse of warmth to the winter’s short days and dark nights.
