Meridian Centre is host to the Festival of the Stars event. Festival of Stars returns again for another year in St. Catharines. Headlining this year is Irish singing sensation Daniel O’Donnell, with his band and special guest, Mary Duff. Award-winning country pop singer Crystal Gayle revisits classics including ‘Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.’ The Irish Jukebox closes this year’s festival, starring Irish crooner Nathan Carter, and featuring former original member of Celtic Woman Chloë Agnew, accordionist Ronnie Kennedy, singer/drummer Nigel Connell, as well as Canadian fiddle and step-dancing champions The Fitzgeralds.

Award-winning country and pop singer Crystal Gayle joins the lineup of Festival of Stars 2018. Sister of Loretta Lynn, and a Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee in 2017, Crystal is known for her #1 hit ‘Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,’ which also won her a GRAMMY Award in 1978. She’s had 17 other songs at the top of the Billboard charts during the 1970s and 80s, as well as awards from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, and the American Music Awards. At the Festival of Stars, Crystal will perform her biggest hits from her 40+ years in the music business.

After his first North American tour in September 2017, Irish crooner Nathan Carter is returning to Canada to headline The Irish Jukebox during Festival of Stars 2018. See Nathan and his band perform a program of hits from his new album, Livin’ the Dream, old country favourites, contemporary standards like ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water,’ and his popular songs ‘Galway Girl’ and ‘Wagon Wheel.’
Alongside Nathan, fans of Daniel O’Donnell will recognize and welcome accordion great Ronnie Kennedy and singer/drummer Nigel Connell, a finalist on The Voice of Ireland. Also featured in The Irish Jukebox is Chloë Agnew, former original member of Celtic Woman, and Canadian fiddle and step-dancing champions The Fitzgeralds.
