Located at the southern end of the Winter Festival of Lights illumination route, Cummington Square is an urban public park dating back to approximately 1800. It is centrally located in the former village of Chippawa’s business district. This historic park includes a large octagonal bandstand and war memorial and is decorated each winter in red and white lighting. The nearby bridge over the Welland River is also decorated with red and white lights that connect the light posts on the bridge.
Illuminations at Cummington Square are sponsored by Ground Aerial Maintenance Services Ltd.
